I went. IMHO it was pretty lame. I think I can honestly say it was among the worst 15 euros I ever spent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,968 ✭✭✭jcoote

yeah can u not get them in dixons etc no...i'm sure i seen somethin a while ago...maybe it was maplins

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 23,363 Mod ✭✭✭✭feylya

You might be able to get them in Maplins but I doubt you can get them in Dixons. I might be able to tell you soon :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,968 ✭✭✭jcoote

yeah i think maplins have em

    edit in fact they do

    Multi pedal power supply
    •Power up to 5 effects
    •Replaces 5 traditional adaptors

An extremely useful power supply that eliminates the need for multiple mains adaptors or constant battery changing in your effects pedals. The unit is housed in a tough steel box and features an on/off switch with built-in power on indicator on the top and a fuseholder on the side. There are 5 DC power sockets along one side (tip negative). The Power Bank has a 1.2m mains lead and is supplied complete with five 300mm long DC power leads for connecting to your effect pedals power sockets.

thats the one interesting to see thathey have a musi section *hits al-tab to view music section*

I don't know if I'd bother getting my stuff from Maplin. That power adapter seems cheap enough but I'd go else where for my cables and stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,968 ✭✭✭jcoote

ah yeah but if u were goin to get a behringer brck that one there would be as good quality i reckon

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 23,363 Mod ✭✭✭✭feylya

The problem with cutting corners with power supplies is that they can be noisy and if you put noisy electricity into your pedals, especially distortion pedals, you'll be in a world of Hum.

true enough yeah i've been there...had an arion dist pedal years and years ago with an argos power supply..holy **** it was crap

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,999 ✭✭✭68 lost souls

Well I got the acoustic modeller cause I was hoping I woukdnt have to splash out on a new acoustic and just plug my guitars through that, alas no. It cant handle the volume when the resonance is up and turns it into a distortion pedal Ill try and post some clips for you soon.

For 23 its not bad but I wont be raving about them. Ill try and get some pics up aswel, like of the awkward battery replacing. You can get some nice sounds out of it though.

I had been debating wether or not to get their blues distortion aswel but I thgink Ill save for the bus.

I did hear the new bass amps though and they sound beautiful.

www.audiocity.ie is the Behringer dealer innit? My Dad told me bout that of all people.
I'm getting one of those Behringer TU100 tuners cuz I cant afford a BOSS one.
    Should be good.
