    im lookin 4 a new mp3 playa for work & gym, so i only want 1 max 5 gig r so...

    i was thinkin ipod nano but im hearin alot bout i-river?

    or any1 know any gud sites for tech reviews and the likes??

    anyone suggestions or recommendations?

    OP, you could also try asking/looking in the gadgets forum. There are many debates going on at the moment over different mp3's players, could get a good idea of the pro's and con's.

    If its going to be for the gym a solid state player, as opposed to one with a hard drive may be better. As you said the nano, or even the shuffle. As far as I know the nano is the biggest (capacity wise) solid state player available, but I stand to be corrected on this.

    Iv always bought creative players i find them very hardy and have excellent sound and software . You find them in komplett.ie

    Ive had a few different types inluding an iriver which at the time i loved. but it collapsed after 3 months. a piece of junk really. have had an ipod for the last 2 years and it has caused no problems at all. should have bought it first up.

    Big fan of the Creative range here too. Tried an iPod for a while - the whole iTunes nonsense put me off.
