ok, its new graphics card time. I have an athlon xp2400 on an abit nf7s board. Its got 512mb ram. I had a geforce ti440 in it, but its gone away to the big computer in the sky now.

I checked komplett* for prices and it sortof meets my budget. What are the equivelant geforce cards and how do they compare pricewise?
Is this a good card for its price?
* and is komplett still as competitive as it was? I haven't been up to date on computer part prices in about two years

It should get the job done better, if 170 is your budget and you usually play 1024x768 as your screen resolution.

Yeah man, that's a great card for its price, it's DRR3 as well which is a huge leap in peformance over DDR. I wish I saw it to be honest!, I bought a new card the other week for about the same price but it has plain old DDR memory on it. I'm a big fan of ATI technology cards as well, not a big fan of nVidia, go for that card, it's sweet..
