    Hi,
I'll be in Kuala Lumpur in November and was thinking of buying a tailored suit while there as I understand they're much cheaper than here. Has anyone done this? I'd appreciate any comments and hopefully some names/addresses! Or even weblinks that might be useful (I've searched myself without any great success.

    Thanks,
    B

Just back from there - didn't get one made myself but know a few who did...

Cheapest you'll (i did) find in a place you can trust for a suit jacket and pants is 400MYR. At the minute that's just short of 100euro...
They do special deals where you buy that + a lump of shirts + a tie or two for an all in price...

I'm sure you can get them cheaper if you search around...
You can also pay a LOT more than that for better quality...

My advice would be to a walk into a few places with the huge Tailor signs and price them up and ask to see the quality of a few premade ones...
I'd also only hand over a small(ish) deposit (if any at all) when you get measured up...

Hi. I'm from Malaysia. My advice is try to shop around. If you want good quality then go to SOGO shopping complex in Kuala Lumpur. Find Spark Manshop there. However, it is a at bit expensive around 200 euros.

For a cheaper option, look for small tailor around Tunku Abdul Rahman street. Look for chinese tailor. They'll cut you a cheap deal, less than 100 euros.

Look also for shirts. With 150 euros, you can get 10 - 12 good quality shirt. I wear shirts and tie bought in Malaysia for work, my colleague always said that they look expensive.

If there is anything that I can help you with, just PM me.
