    I’m back!

What a trip. It was the best 3 days of my life and I felt like a real pro, just didn’t play like one.

I must say thank you to a view people, firstly all the guys on boards for your good wishes, secondly the pro’s. I played against Lucy Rokack, Scott Gray and Kevin O’Connell, these guys made it so easy for us by been friendly and helpful over the 3 days. I hope I get to return the favour some day. And finally Paddy Power, they looked after us brilliantly. They arrange everything and kept the drink and atmosphere flowing.

There were 3 members of boards that qualified and I think we done you all proud. I can’t tell you the result, but it will make for great television and seemed to be very exciting, so hopefully everyone will enjoy it. We even looked and acted like pro’s.

Playing in front of the camera’s was very exciting and doing the interviews was great fun. Hope it all made sense. I even had a cool pair of shades. But in general, I played well and now have the taste to want to play in more of these events. I also will start to play more live poker, so I hope you all get to watch it and I’ll love to here you comments.

So after the viewing on the 21st, I’ll write a better report.

Thanks again everyone for your support

All will be revealed! We all agreed to keep you in suspendenders.. It will make for better tv! Although I wont be suprised if it gets out beforehand. I will say this. We had a fantastic time. The qualifiers played brilliantly and more than did us proud in the tourney. We had an absolute hoot and require weeks of recouperation.... HAIL TO THE AJ UTG!

Great to hear Ollie... It sounds to me like you couldn't have had a better table. Scot Gray is one of the nicest guys in poker. Lucy Rokash is a great player. And Kevin is very funny... last time I played on a table with him he was offering to take a player three times his size outside.... :D

Look forward to seeing the event.

    The qualifiers were:

    Kevin (Clara K) Killeen, Cork
    Owen (goodgod) Taaffe, Louth
Michael (Jarade2004) McFadden - Board Member
Oliver (Ollieboy1) Boyce, Clonee - Board Member
Mark (mctrigger) Collins - Board Member
    Mark (Kingkeane1) Keane

We were all newbies except for Kevin, who is rank. I think this is correct.

Mark Keane had only taken the game up 3 weeks ago and this is really worth seen.

The joke was all week, everyone agreed they would fold Ace J utg, it was the most played hand and always raised.

But I would never play it, right Pit Boss!

    Fatboydim,

I was in seat 4, with Lucy in seat 3, Scott in seat 2 and kevin Killeen in seat 1. Mark was in seat 5 and Kevin O'Connell in seat 6. I had no chance and Kev promised if any of us beat him, the wife would kill us, so he must have loss that last battle.

From my experience of their customer service, no-one 'works' for them.

I'll try to get a copy of it on to video or DVD when its released. Its very funny, you would think it was a normal pub game. I only got sky in this week, so I know how you feel Ntl.

Rounders its hard to know what way the interview comes out, its very hard to get away with anything. But I did my best. The interviews were the hardest bit. But still very funny, trying to talk about poker and they ask you what your biggest win is, and you have to say, this. There questions are really for the pros.
