    hi all,

gz are happy to present this all ages event. playing are:

    Life at These Speeds (usa)
    Science of Yabra (usa)
    Soldiers Take Half (kilcoole)
    Labanon Death Train (Roscommon/Dublin)
    Apostles (Dublin).

it runs from 3-8pm and costs €6 if you are over 18, and €5 if you're under.

boh's bar is located underneath the jodi stand in dalymount park in phibsboro. entrance is via the laneway opposite the big church.there are some directions/maps here http://www.bohemians.ie/maps.htm

here is some info about the bands:

    Life at These Speeds

"At times heavy and at other times very much melodic, this Portland, Oregon based four piece never cease to hold your attention. With an ambient and atmospheric track breaking up the sides, Life At These Speeds present an an epic and driving classic dynamic punk record for the history books. People who are remotely interested in Shotmaker, Drive Like Jehu, Rites Of Spring and Twelve Hour Turn should dig this."

    Science of Yabra

"Take the more frantic bits of DIVE LIKE JEHU and HOT SNAKES, crank the volume ten-fold and make the vocals just a bit more aggressive, and you have SCIENCE OF YABRA nailed. The music is executed perfectly and the charging fury of each and every song never lets up. Not only is SCIENCE OF YABRA easily accessible to fans of the aforementioned bands, they are also knee-deep in a more heavy hardcore sound (say,HEROIN)that would undoubtedly appeal to people of a more "hardcore" persuasion. Clearly this is not an accident."

Soldiers Take Half are from Kilcoole and share members with the mighty Kidd Blunt. They play a style of emo/hardcore influenced by bands like Small Brown Bike and Hot Water Music.
Lebanon Death Train play a type of strange prog/hardcore crossover and have previously been in bands like Scientific Bong and Nerdlinger.
Apostles are dedicated to noize in the mould of Wolf Eyes and Einsturzende Neubauten
