Anybody know how much it would cost to change the timing belt and water pump in a 99 vectra .

Most cars 250-400 euro depending on mechanic.

There are a couple of ways of looking at this.
You could go to a main street dealer type garage, they will charge you in the hundreds.
Or goto a smallish car repair shop, they will charge you somwhere around 200.
I have got timing belts done for as little as 70 euro's.
It really is a simple job if a little (ok a lot) time consuming, the belt it self costs around 30 euro's.
Look for guys working out of back gardens and the like, and if there is a loada taxi's around so much the better.
