    Hi

My brother is looking into getting a laptop and one of the features he would like is to be able to edit film from his DV camcorder and make them into DVD's. I'll show you the spec of the laptop below.

    Intel Pentium M processor ( around 1.8 ghz )
    512mb DDR ram ( pc 2700 I think )
    60gb 7200 rpm hard drive
    PCMCIA Firewire card

Does anyone know from experiece is it possible to download full-quality DV using a spec similar to this ? Has anyone tried it ?
