Actually I'm going to Korea at the end of next Month. Won't be in Seoul for long though, will be Pusan and Onyang. Had planned to go to Jeju but going to Pusan instead as there is more touristy things to see (instead of just general holiday).

As for Seoul, resturants is something it isn't short of. Where abouts in Seoul are you planning to go?

If you're going to stay in Pusan, try to visit Korean Folk Village in Suwon.

How about going to go to Han river? It's like Liffey river in Ireland. It goes through middle of north and south seoul.

The river Liffy is a stream compared to the Han river.

Just got back from Korea on Fri last.
Theres a nice restaurant across the street & up a little from from the Oakwood Centre (COEX Mall) in Seoul, We entered via what looked like a garage / car service bay. They do really nice beef / prok barbecue dishes.
The grub there was THE best I'd tasted in the various restauants I'd seen (in Seoul and Kwangju)

how long will you stay in Korea? Are you going to stay in Kyounggido province only?
We are going to visit Mt.Sorak in Kangwondo province.
And we are going to viist small islands under Pusan as well.
I really love to have raw sliced fish(Hwae) with gyuja(wasabi mustard)
If you visit Wolmido in Inchon which is close to Seoul, you can have good raw fishes.
But we are going to have it in Pusan. It's not that expensive like Seoul in Pusan.
And sea is really clear in southern and eastern parts of Korea.
If you visit Anmyondo in the western area, you can have really nice barbecued seashell.
So it's not good to stay in Kyonggido area include Seoul only in your whole holidays.
And Chejudo island is the biggest island of Korea.
But the price is the highest in Korea so I don't want to recommend it.
Hope you have a nice holiday with your g/f.

Fireworks Festival opens in Han river on the 22nd and 29th, Oct.2005.

It will be a nice news for especially, Drapper and his g/f.

I will be in Danyang at that time so I'm not able to join it.

I will link the fireworks festival homepage for Irish.

You can watch the festival was opened in 2004 and the world's festival as well.
