rented this in xtra vison the last night and i thought it was the best foreign flim with english subtitles ever. Its based around the Korean War and the war scenes are some of the best i have ever seen.

Its easliy gets a 5/5 from me. I might not have rented had i know it was subtitled film but i am glad i did.

Im assuming you mean Tae Guk Gi, indeed its an amasing film, twice the film Saving Private Ryan could hope to be. One of the few war films that has more to it than just people shooting each other, really shows how the charecters change in war brilliantly.

    Why?

i cant watch films where i have to read what is being said and try and follow the story as well.

But surely much of the story is conveyed via the dialogue (Unless it's a silent film) so thereby reading it, you're following the story? How can the two things be seperate?

I think he means that he cant look at the picture and read the subtitles at the same time. Lots of people who are slow readers tend to have this problem
