I've been at this for a few days now and still trying to get the best quality lowest mb count per 700mb 1gb video file! Its going onto a psp with 1gig of memory so size is as big factor as quality, also the format options are limited by the conversion software, psp is mp4 format and depending on the bit rate mp4 format brings the size of a file down very well but if some one can tell me what is the best source recording format? im at the moment at 1.3g for a 3hr video tape using divx/avi format using MainActor5 for recording which is not bad i guess.
Long story short can i get/do better?
