    Hiya

I am buying an amp from a guy in Navan. Now he can't travel to deliver or meet halfway or anything and I'm in Cork and not going all the way there. We are thinking some sort of courier to get it down here. What would all you guys suggest?

Personally, I'd drive. But I like driving so that may have something to do with it. Why not call you local courier company and ask them. They'll charge you a lot I'd imagine. Maybe An Post??

I'm getting an amp delivered from the UK to Dublin. £36 for a 24 hour delivery supposedly. I'll believe it when I see it though!

Going by that, it shouldn't be too much from Navan to Cork...

    What did you get?

An Post SDS was the cheapest courier service around. I think it's just An Post parcel service these days.

It's a Swr Redhead combo.I'm too young to drive.I know someone who can but they aren't available for 3 weeks nearly. An Post looks good but it only takes things up to 30kgs and the amp is nearly 37

i think you can get it sent on bus eireann, or even on the train... not sure what that's like cost-wise, but its a suggestion
