Hello all, I'm sure someone will tell me that this is a question for a different forum, but I thought I'd ask here anyway.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows anywhere in Ireland or on-line where you can get a cheap lap-top, the reason I'm asking here is because it would basically be solely for poker, all I need really is a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 or what ever it is to display 4 tables without overlap, and anything else needed to go with my new broadband connection, i.e. wireless modem card, etc.

    Anyone bought one recently??

You are going to need a big screen and an expensive graphics card to play 4 tables without overlap. For what you want I'd be amazed if you could get it cheap.

4 tables and sitting in front of the tv? my head would last approximately 3.786 seconds.

Just thought I'd ask, see if anyone knows anywhere, more a hopeful question than an expectant one. I'd say it'll be expensive too, maybe I'll just have to settle for a regular one, any suggestions??

I was more imagining lying in bed with the laptop on my knee,
I ask you, what could be better on a Sunday morning then doing just that. Or any old night for that matter. :D

Believe it or not Dell have a section on their site now called Dell Outlet. Great prices for top gear. Worth checking.

Ebay is also a good place to start. I have a crappy PIII Laptop I use soley for poker. I do notice a resource drain when I open more that one poker app together i.e PP and BF, but it is useable.

Aldi/Lidl have cheap laptops sometimes, check the Bargain Alerts forum under the Shop dropdown menu, I doubt they'll be too powerful but they would be cheap.

I bought a PC last June, but was thinking about a laptop as well, and was checking out the computer forum, and all the computer whizz kids reckon that the spec of the Lidl laptops is amazing value for money, so well worth asking them boys.
