Anyone have any experience of using standard European laptops in Japan? I read that they have two different power standards over there and am hoping that neither of them fry my lappy.

    Cheers.

Any idea how I can establish the voltages it supports? Will check on the underside of the power supply when I get home - assuming it's the power supply and not the actual cable I have to worry about?

Laptops are designed to be portable....just buy an international adapter from the airport and you should be fine with it!
