I use the 1mb version here in cork.
In css the pings are usually around 35/40(on uk servers) sometimes maybe 16 or maybe 70 all depends.
You should head over to the braodband forum under net/comms

Its weather independant. Really heavy snow would probably result in packetloss, but we never get that kind of weather. Thunder and lightning might disrupt it, but i've never had any problems when there's been heavy rain or thunder and lightning.

However, their internal network in dublin is a crock of **** (in the dublin area). Packetloss of (averaging 15% over 4 days continuous pinging... peaking at 40%). As a customer since they opened the tallaght tower, i can't wait for a good alternative (either Metro or Smart look tempting). If you're a gamer, don't get them. Even World of Warcraft is nearly unplayable at times, and that can work with a 500ms ping.
