I just got a card of a mate in eng who no longer needs it just a couple of questions for the experts here.. 1) Should the digibox be turned off when changing from one card to another or is it ok to switch cards while the box is powered on? 2) Should i disconnect the phone line when using the free view card? thanks in…

1) I've never had any problems "hot-swapping" them. Just change it to say 501 (Sky News) first (or anything FTA on both cards) while the EPG updates

2) Yes.. always!
