new elbow album??

the release date was september 12th but i cant find it anywhere?? anyone know the story?

Yeah, I couldn't find it either - 'tis on sale on hmv.co.uk so it could be a case of the ol' one week delay for the 'Oirish' - it happens with DVDs quite a bit. There was the same thing with the Robert Post album two or three weeks ago.

whats the story with that delay?? we used to be able to get the albums on a friday over here before the official uk monday release - maybe they got pissed off with that??

I think the Friday before thing still holds generally with most albums - maybe its down to companies like HMV distributing stuff from British branches instead of getting it directly of Irish distributors?

thanks pacifico but i just know if i ordered it now it would be in the shops tomorrow, which would be worse

also an post are having some problems with the post around my area so it would probably never get here!

maybe you are right about the distribution/sourcing thing, think il ask tomorrow what the story is

apparantly it will be in hmv grafton street first thing in the morning, its available in 2 formats - the special one being the dvd format.
