No shark fishing this week so will certainly make it this week and drag the missus along too. She outlasted me last time and I can't have that. :D

Any of you fellahs stuck down the West on a Sunday evening ... this is a smashing little tourney.

30 mins blinds, first 4 levels, 2 rebuy or 1 rebuy + 1 top up during first 2 hours.

They have an ongoing league as well, so all the locals are well up to the mark at this stage.

    100% Payout as well.

    Thanks for hospitality Michael

Cheers for nice comments Culchie. Was worried what you might post when i saw who was drawn at your table.....Pat the lad who never shuts up but he's harmless especially at the poker table. The regular tournament organiser rang in sick an hour beforehand so instead of playing i ended up doing his job.

No worries.... Pat showed me how to never give in and chase a straight all the way to the river and caught his gut shot straight against my set of queens very first hand, lost 70% of stack there and then .... got them back though.

However he can play as well. He played me like a fiddle just before final table formed when I had 10 6 in the BB, and he had limped in.

    Flop came A 6 6 :) , Turn was a 10 :D , river rag.

I thought I was milking him, until he turned pocket Aces after a re-raise on the river :( He then preceded to lose them all next hand on a bluff to another fellah....doh !

That meant I limped onto final table very weak. BTW I was out in 8th, or is it like the golf where I get the visitors prize? :)
