Dublin Airport

    I have flight at 6.30 in morning in 2 weeks time. I am coming from down the country. Is it safe to stay in airport overnight? Are restaurants/bars open 24 hours?

    ive been there a few times with traveling to different places and it seems ok to me. been there a few times late at night and have had no problems. there are a few places open in the evening times but wouldnt be open all night. www.dublin-airport.com that link might help you a bit :)

    i think most of the shops/restaurants close at 9 or 10.

    but have a gander at www.dublinairport.ie

    might be more definitive

    Nothing is open 24hrs but there are a number of vending machines. It's certainly not the worst place to stay overnight if you have no alternative but hardly the best way to start a trip.

    If you are coming from Galway direction Citylink have a bus that arrives in the Airport at 5.25am.

    There's a small coffee shop open on the left hand side of arrivals for the majority of the night (closes for around 30 minutes for the staff to have a break). The taxi drivers/DAA staff use it all through the night.

    Departures will be closed off during the night until the first check in, arrivals will be the only area open.
