On a completely random note how much do kids cost? Per week/month/year etc.
Also how many people really plan to have kids?

The costs vary so do as Mary Harney says - Shop Around !

Seriously - they are more than the childrens allowance.

Some cost are easy to pin point ,
ie school books, clothes, toys, trips to the dr.
    others aren't food, heating, housing.

Can't we ever sat down and totaled up what the kids are costing us,
    that would be like werid.

A good few quid but you gotta love the little tikes. :) Seriously though its not something we even considered when having kids. If my folks could bring up 6 kids in the 70's/80's with the way the ecomomy was back then I reckon we'll do alright in the present climate. Regarding planning its a case that some do, some don't.
