This may go over the head of some of the younger folk, but to the older hangers on it gives me great pleasure to announce that I'm leaving Trinity this month. It's been 8 years via engineering, the SU, GSU and finally computer science and now I'm off to the big bad world. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's helped me out over the years, especially everyone who worked on the Record, 'that year' in the SU and getting tcdsu.org up and running, you know who you are!

I'll probably be in touch again to organise some kind of proper leaving college thing, but in the meantime happy trails!

And lo the cobblestones of Trinity fell silent and a chill wind blew through the campanile...

Really maybe I shouldn't leave!!! Kate Bush and the Human League would break my legs.

In other news - had my first day in the world of 'real' employment today. I use the quotes advisedly considering some of you know where I am now, and probably have a misguided view of life in a computer game company.

Now that you're in employment, TYFG request to suck you dry :D.

Were you around for (the now Cllr.'s) Varadkar and Creighton?

I was Dep Pres during Lucinda's TARTS campaign and I think Leo was chair when I was in first year (when they used to send me meeting notices the day after the meeting - maybe they were trying to tell me something!) Glad to lend a hand though if needed - but don't suck me completely dry, the Kildare folk wouldn't be too impressed if I'd nothing left for them.
