    Whats that soccer one like?

Its meant to be pretty average. My advice would be to get Ridge now then Winning Eleven/PES when it comes out soon.

Ridge Racer is the dogs testicles

I have Ridge Racer & Wipeout. Both fantastic. Ridge Racer is much better graphically and is great for showing off the psps potential but I suspect wipeout will last longer challenge wise.

You would be a fool to buy a soccer game with Pro Evo 5 coming out in less than a month! The thought of wireless multyplayer portable Pro evo makes me wet my pants.

I'd hold off till Friday and get Burnout Legends instead.

Hold on, ridge racer is like the worst racing game ive ever played, nitro is no fun after youve played NFS2 and Burn Out, its just crap.

Im selling it if you want it, ive only played it twice.

Well isn't life tough for some :p

Seriously, rent out Ridge Racer tomorrow night, give it back thursday evening. Then buy Burnout the next day, Friday! Everyone wins! Except me. Because I don't have a psp. But anyway.... :o

Ridge racer though, I've played it a fair bit, its great looking, but a bit uninteresting. Wipeout is where all the gameplay and length are at.

    Ok, lets pretend its Friday, and i have no games for my PSP. I would buy;
    1. Wipeout (Contender Eliminated)
    2. Burnout (Takedown Special)
    2. Ridge Racer (Hey, somebodys riding your tale)

Burnout is fantastic. They've got the graphics and sense of speed, and most importantly the gameplay, from the home versions down perfectly. There's also a bigger selection of cars as far as I can tell. The crash mode kinda suffers cos the damge modelling on the civilian cars isn't great but everything else in the game is perfect. And it's ideal for a quick three lap race when you're on the move.

Ridge Racers was great at first but got boring fast I thought, Wipeout is great too but for me Burnout is in a league of its own. Oh and for a change of pace get mercury. Two best PSP games in my opinion.

How's it going Hellrazer, remeber me the big bloke now from Mullingar. Picked up a PSP in June and got Ridge Racer, NFS Underground, Wipeout and Lumines. Out of the 4 it's Lumines that I still come back to. Ridge Racer is all about the graphics, for me the long term game play is not their. Both NFS and Wipeout offer more longterm but Lumines in on another level. It's may not have the wow factor but it gets under your skin and it's the one game that I have played over the months while the others have gathered dust.

Yeah, I'll be picking that up today too. Let me know where you get it and for how much. Game and HMV seem to sell games at €55. I hope Xtravision get it in cos all their games retail @ €50

Got winning eleven last night. Everything but the main menu's in Japanese which is a completel pisser but the game itself is quite good. Wont be able to decide until I get a mult-player game in tbh.

Definitely Ridge Racer, it's by far the best out of those three games and still my favourite PSP game so far.
