Flush Draw on a Paired Board

    Cash Game

After raising with Ac Jc on the button and getting one caller the flop comes 6c 6d 10c. The caller leads out with a 2X bet. Gametime says I'm getting 6.7/1 odds on a call here.

Is the correct play here to raise/call/fold?

What should my thought process be?

Disclaimer: This is not a thinly veiled bad beat thread, I was genuinely stumped as to what my play is in this spot

Unless I believed he had a 6 I would raise to take control of the pot. BTW Pokerace is much better than Gametime.

A flat call here gives away the fact that I am drawing doesnt it? Thats what I did so when the club came on the turn, it was checked to me. I bet and it was an easy fold for the villain. This kept me awake last night because I knew I had played it very poorly and it was simply because of the paired board.

BTW I do use PokerAce but the version I have has expired and I'm on dialup for a while so I said I'd try gametime for the craic. Pokerace is much better alright.

It certainly will look like a flush draw, or a 10, but you're getting odds to call, so make the call. Because it's a Cash Game you're just playing the numbers. You're getting the right odds to play so play, if you hit you win your bet, if you don't see what happens, maybe he was also on a flush draw, or on a very weak bluff.
