    Alrighty, im looking for a diagram - not sure if iv come to the right place :).

    I think they are called breakout boxes, those little boxes you see in offices, that you plug your network cable into to join the network. These sometimes havemore than 1 plug on them.
    Im looking for an internal diagram of one of these, strange i no :rolleyes: .

    Any1 no where i could find 1 on the net :).

    are you looking for a network hub/switchboard/router diagram is it? And by an internal diagram is the actuall insides of the hub/switchboard/router to see its cabling layout and all that stuff?

    Crumbs, not 100% sure :o . Its for my dad, so i think it would be a technical diagram i would be after. All i no is its 1 of those little white boxes you see in offices, cat5 cable usually plugs into them to connect you to the network.
    He called it a breakout box :confused: .
    Sorry if this is very vague, i will try get some more details.

    He means the wallbox or floorpoint for a cat5 ethernet network I think. The box will have the same cabling requirement as a straight-through cable. There are diagrams here
