I saw a poster for this on a bus yesterday.

I had no idea there was another movie on the way....I have heard nothign of it untill now.

What's the story, basis etc...?

Basically, George A. Romero, the creator of the zombie genre, is getting back into it, after an absence of some 20(?) years, since Day of the Dead.

Looks good, I've downloaded most of the trailers from quicktime.

I remember hearing that he was making a game of this title, but that was only recently.

i saw this three months ago and i must say i was fairly disappointed with it. its just plain old crap, by far the worst of all four movies.

Thought it was decent,didnt come close to any of the other "dead" films. Also BBC2 are showing the trilogy this week Nights already half over but Dawn and Day are on Wednesday and Thrusday nights late. Last time they showed them they were uncut so hopefully its the same again.

I saw half the film havent been able to bring my self to watch the rest. I will some day. In general most that have seen it have been disapointed.

Thought it would be sh1t, but I actually enjoyed it. People may have expected too much and the zombie intelligence was a little OTT, but otherwise I liked it, and thought it had Romero's old 'social-commentary' element in there.

Was it ominous and scary enough? nah, it went for the quick shock and gore factor, and was a little too fast paced. But, enjoyable zombie movie.

Saw this last night and thought it was utter drivel. I know it was supposed to be cheesy, but it did'nt even pull that off. Not mad about a "leader" zombie, actually would of like seeing them run seeing as they could swim, communicate, fire weapons, hide out, etc in the movie but they still walk!
The scene with SPOILER***Dennis Hopper leaving the lift and says to guy "quick look over there" and then shoots him was cringe worthy *SPOILER.

For the record 4/10 and the 4 marks was for the gore which there was plenty of.

Just watched it and loved it! Fantastic gore, nice & cheesey. Loved the whole 'get your photo with a zombie' thing.

Well I watched the full movie last night and I thought it seemed very short. Could have been longer but then there may be a romero`s cut comming out for it. That might be better. I was a little disapointed with it but over all it was OK.

"A little too fast paced"? What on earth are you talking about. The film rolls along at a cracking pace alright but this only serves to enhance the enjoyment. In future please refrain from posting on a subject you obviously have little knowledge of.

LOL? Is this meant to be some kind of joke. Pighead demands the banning of Kernel. Hes so far called me a zombie and a wanker(nice edit kernel) in this thread but his guiltiest crime of all is falsely claiming to have watched Land of The Dead. Probably in an attempt to get some cool points.
Are you going to ban him spooky donkey or is Pighead going to have to take this right to the top?
