A scary article in this months Ecologist magazine about this sweetener.

Has anyone had adverse reactions to it?

My Mum gets a headache if she has it - due to one of its constituents being a concentration of methanol I believe.

I always hated the stuff, gives the ****s and tastes terrible, I always wondered at the sense of replacing 'unhealthy' refined sugar with this toxic waste.
