    Hey, does anyone know if a Dell printer would work with a G4 powerbook?

    have a Dell 1700 Laser printing grand from OS X here using the appropriate Lexmark driver (E320)

    Sorry for cutting in here: Dubwireless, what model of Lexmarks are equivalent to Dells current Laser printers? Will the Lexmark toners work with the Dell badged ones or are they "chipped" in some way.

    just looked into the one i was getting (1700) and googled to find the relevant Lexmark model number, then went to the Lexmark site and downloaded the OS X driver

    dunno about the toners sorry, they modded ink jet cartridges though so only the dell branded ones would work
