    Hi all.
I was planning on installing Windows 98 SE on a mates PC instead of the current OS Windows ME  . Just wondering if it would be easier/better to reformat the hardrive first or just install over the existing OS?
    Thanks.

I am fairly sure that if you can do a reformat it will work out much much better than doing an install over. Especially when you are doing a "revert" technically :p

Thanks for that. I'll take the technically older system anyday. The bugs I've encountered while trying to install a better GFX card is not amusing. ME is a disaster :D
