Mixing Beer + Red Bull

While at Electric Picnic I found myself in need of some electric pep, but of course I would like to continue drinking alcohol. So in a moment of inspiration I purchased a can of Red Bull and poured it into my Budwieser (the only lager available).... and my gosh it ain't have bad. It also had the desired effect. Energiser…

While at Electric Picnic I found myself in need of some electric pep, but of course I would like to continue drinking alcohol. So in a moment of inspiration I purchased a can of Red Bull and poured it into my Budwieser (the only lager available).... and my gosh it ain't have bad. It also had the desired effect. Energiser bunny and all that.

Anyone else have experience with this combo, has it all been done before? Any other unlikely combos to try....?

I must admit I'd doubt I'd add it to just any beer. It did make the Bud more palatable...

Yeah, I hate being limited at festivals, force fed crap booze, it might add something to that bland crap alright.

LOL, it would appear that Red Bull mixes with absolutley everything! It's the very essence of flavour.

Budweiser seemed to have hopped on the energy drink bandwagon, in releasing Budweiser E (extra), it's 5% vol and contains loads of caffeine. I saw this in another thread in this forum, a few week back now,
