i knew that they hadn't finished season two yet...

you see, i recently met somebody who states that they are an avid Lost fan, and who blatently shot down my 'limbo' theory and all other viable theories that i mentioned.

however, this was no ordinary Lost fan (cue the scary music)... for you see, the reason for this is that he has apparently seen all of season one (possible.. i myself have almost done it) but also... ALL OF SEASON TWO???????????????????

i too thought they'd only done about three....

please if anyone knows of any links showing the current process, because i would love to see his face (its not just me... he's told everyone.)

Well... he's absolutely talking out of his anus! :D Can't believe such crap was uttered and you even considered a possibly of truth in it!

I've a link to an interview recently with Daniel Dae-Kim (Jin) who states they're only starting the 2nd episode! :D

PS - he was right to shoot down the limbo theory! Sounds a bit too close to Purgatory territory.. and that's all a load of bulldink!

OH NO NO NO NO...need to clarify one thing.. i did not believe him, i just had no concrete way of proving his falsehoods....

    and..

no they are the same theory but presented slightly differently depending on ideals/beliefs...

i really believe that they are all dead. the main reason being that the plane crashed. firstly the tail section came off, then the nose and the middle then plummeted towards the ground.

now i will agree that when planes crash, on average, those near the wings are most likely to survive as long as the plane remains intact upon touch down/crashing. However, for the amount of survivors, especially when compared to those that died... the maths just don't add up.

... also, what about injuries. with the exception of those who had mortal wounds... no-one had any major injuries (just some cool looking scars/scratches)... and in the cave in jack dislocates his arm, but in the crash, no broken bones? very odd.

ps. where's the boone/radio link again?

Loon, would you please read up a bit more before spouting your theories which have already been proved false

Babies cant be born in limbo or purgatory.

Limbo is a state of nothingness where time never passes so baby cant pop out.
Heaven/Hell/Purgatory again baby cant be born into one of them.

Now a dream with a cameo from bobby ewing is planned for ep 4 of the new season....I SAW I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!

Proven... how? and by whom? as far as i know all 'theories' have at one time or other been said to be false...

... and KdjaC whats limbo like this time of year...

whilst in the womb, children aquire a soul (this has to be due to premature babies), and as i wrote before everyone is born with original sin until they are cleansed/baptised. as claire is/was about 8 months pregnant when she and her unborn baby died, the baby will have original sin and should go straight to hell. but because he died in the womb, which was not a concious decision... hence limbo.

until someone can explain how they all survived the crash in such good condition... i'm going with the death theory...

[loon: professor of ancient and modern languages, currently teaching theological studies at a well established UK university... and i can tell you that lost has sparked some great discussions and ideas (most of which have been disproven except the death one, as it is an unknown constant)]

Heh babies dont have souls till they are born thus cant be judged one, as says the bible. A christening is what gives the baby a soul. im not sure what episode your on but there is 3 damn good reasons why its not limbo or hell.

So to not spoil your viewing i wont reveal what they are. And limbo is a state of nothingness were time never passes so how can an unborn baby grow in limbo?

Personally i never leaned towards the limbo/hell theaory GF did but around ep 14 onwards that idea was killed off.

not quite there yet (episode 14)... but i still want someone to explain to me how so many people...

a). how many people survived such a horrific crash (i've looked into this and the maximum number of survivors when a plane does not crash in tact should be about 10-15)

b). why no injuries except a few cuts.

if the answer is that it is merely a tv show, i may stop watching it..

.. with regards to your babies theory... how very christian of you. however, if you ask a catholic, even sperm is sacred.

Sayied asked the same question, "Why weren't we all killed?", in like the second or third episode. He and everyone else couldn't explain it. The writers have hinted that they were brought to the island for a reason and that it wasn't all a coinsidence. Just accept it. You seem to be stuck on this notion that they couldn't have survived when clearly they have some how. Its a story, not a documentary. I mean if you can believe that there is a monster on the island, surely you can believe they survived the crash.

What annoys me the most is that you haven't even seen all the episodes....
