    can someone confirm?

Well first time at the fitz and overall I was fairly disapointed, not sure what I expected but that wasn't it, not much craic at the tables bar who I think was amp from boards (recognized the mush but wasn't sure) arguing with a friend about who started singing mel and kim respectable first. very little action with regard sit and go's afterwards.

Not sure what all the hype about it is, I'd prefer a good pub game any day.

I suppose I'll have to give the merrion a go.

Was there no low limit cash games going on for people knocked out of the freeroll?
You should give the Friday game a go if you can afford it, €50 +€50 rebuy or topup afair.

There was one or two side STT's 10e a pop

I was expecting table after table of action 20/50/100e STT's/cash games etc.

but nothing, and alot of the people in the tournament seem to come in because it was free and run off if they lost it without a re-buy (mostly the young uns) I know it's a free roll but still it was slightly annoying.

I didn't get out of work last night till about 3am so i decided to go back to the fitz incase friday was just an off night and tried out the cash tables, had a much better night i was too late for the 50+ tournment but enjoyed the few hours on the cash tables

So I think the thursday night was just an off night or maybe i just wasn't in the form for it, but I'll definitley be back to the fitz.
