    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to get from Greystones to Dublin via the new M11 extension to the M50? I've a feeling I can take a turn off and come down Fosters Avenue, but not sure where to exit..

    Thanks,

    Kevin.

It depends on where you want to go to in Dublin.

If you want to go to the city itself, your best bet may be not to go onto the M50 at all. Approaching the M11/M50 junction, keep in the left hand lane so that you go onto the slip road which crosses the M50 and brings you back onto the M11 on the far side. Then keep driving straight on until you get into town.

This may be your best bet if you want to get to somewhere near Fosters Avenue. Alternatively, you could join the M50 and drive until you see signs for Sandyford. Come off the motorway here and take the second exit on the roundabout system above the motorway - where the signs indicate the exit for Sandyford. Take this exit and keep driving straight on for a couple of miles until you see a pub called the Goat Grill. Turn right here onto Mount Anville Road and straight on through the lights to Fosters Avenue.

If you want to go the West or North of the City, you may be better off to use the M50 - depending on the time of day.

That's the one! Thanks for that, I'll give it a go!
