I'll be going to a company's recruitment open day in a hotel pretty soon. I was just wondering, I normally make sure I turn up to interviews in a Shirt and Tie but would something like this be less formal or anything or do I still dress to impress?

Thanx in advance for any help or advice

You didn't mention what kind of position you are going for? Is it a graduate/professional role?

I'd wear a shirt & tie. No need for a suit jacket though

    when is it on?
If its on a weekday after work, many will probably be turning up in suits / shirts and ties as they'll be coming from their current jobs.
You'll probably also get students wearing normal student clothes.
Like micmclo mentioned, it may also be worth considering what position you intend going for.
Also, what type company are they?

Basically, shirt/ tie always a safe option - and make sure you bring a good CV and make yourself contactable and impressed with the company (if you want the job that is;))
    good luck!
