    This photo was in the Independent today, the caption reads "Palestinian children take cover in front of an Israli tank..."

    Now i could be mistaken, but I'd be of the opinion that looking at the barrel there could possibly be better places to "take cover"

    What do you think????

    Funnily enough, that's one place they cant actually be hit by the turret gun

    ALthough they'd be likely to come under fire from the armed people that usually accompany a tank

    I saw that, but I think it's a trick of perspective. If you look at the original picture carefully, it looks more like the tank is behind a wall, and the children are behind a dirt mound, behind the wall (effectively almost invisible to the tank). It's just the angle of the picture makes it look like the cannon is aimed directly at the group.

    Yeah - in fact, its the photographer that's probably in more danger than the kids...
