Blueface - is 5.8hz phone OK?

I want to convert to Blueface but will have a 5.8 hz cordless Uniden phone from the States. This should work fine, right? I plan on geting the Linksys PAP2 ATA. Might be a silly question but the cordless phones here don't seem to be the same - al least didn't see any frequency info. thanks.
