[Request] Canon Ixus 30 Digital Camera

    Hi all,

    I am looking to replace a stolen Canon Ixus 30 Digital Camera which I bought from a German website at the start of 2005 for about 250 euro inc delivery. Unfortunately after searching now, it seems that the Ixus 30 has been more or less replaced by the Ixus 40 (which is only slightly better but alot more expensive!).

    Does anyone know of any EU website, or Irish retailer (preferably in the greater Dublin area) which is currently selling a new Canon Ixus 30 Digital Camera for 250 euro (or less) including delivery?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    P.S. I'm not too keen on ordering a camera from an American website as import duties could be expensive, plus an American warranty may not be honoured by Canon in Ireland!

    IXUS 50 is only €11 (303) more than the IXUS 40 (292) so go for it if going for any.

    I recently got one from a dodgy lad down the pub for 30 quid, couldn't believe how cheap it was, although he said he had no more, said he found it.

    Thanks for all the advice everyone!

    Unfortunately Pixmania and Nomatica list the Ixus 30 as "Discontinued" or "Unavailable". That's good news about the two year guarantee -- though I think 2 years is a new EU law requirement, replacing the old 12 month guarantee manufacturers used to give on everything......... Sadly €303 is abit above my budget at the moment for an Ixus 50 (unless it includes a 256MB or above SD Card).

    If anybody spots the Ixus 30 in an Irish shop (or online!) for below €250, please let me know!!
