Just got me a shiny new lappy, wanna be able to walk though the crap holes of town without being assulted for it, wanna get a record style bag but with some padding, any recommendations???

Stick your laptop in it and then throw it into the cheapest backpack you have (or just wjhatever backpack you use already).

It doesn't look like you're carrying a laptop at all. I've got one and i can't reccomend them more.
