Bad beat alert

I haven't complained about bad beats in a while but now that I've lost my last 5 out of 6 all-ins with AA I have to vent my frustration. Just beaten by AKs for $40 by a guy who beat me in the previous hand with a rivered set of Jacks. The hands that beat me that I remember include:
    106s
    10Qs
    33
    AKs

I never thought I'd say this but I'm not putting all my money in the pot preflop with AA anymore, in fact I'm very tempted to fold them to a preflop raise. The odds on loosing 5 out of 6 all-ins with AA are sick, especially when the odds on AKs beating me were about 7-1. From now on I'm just going to try and take small unraised pots with them.

Post up the next five times that you fold AA preflop to a raise (has to be hand histories) and I'll be very impressed (with your determination, not your play).

If I have position, I'll play it.

surely position doesn't matter if you feel you going to be beaten with them

What difference does position make if you are all in pre flop?

I cracked Aces with AK yesterday - The joy was tremendous :D

Oh and with K 5 when a numpty min raised my big blind :p

    It makes all the difference.

It makes no difference, if someone puts you all-in then it doesn't matter if you're UTG or on the button you're going to call with AA.

The only possible difference is if there are 3 or more all-ins before you..but even then you would be hard pressed to fold AA preflop imho

Now I understand why you are considering folding Aces preflop.

My Aces haven't been beaten online or offline in ages :) Or at least I have put those occasions out of my mind.

Have you ever heard of a concept called humour?

Of course position is important when you are all-in. If you are in the SB the button will console you next hand after your aces have been cracked.
