Just in case any of you have shares in the above company (Party Poker), they have fallen 23% this morning down to 1.21 GBP.
Company said growth rates are slowing!
Empire online is in talks with Sportingbet Plc about a possible takeover.

Can someone explain the Empire/Party Poker link?
I thought they were the one and same company but if "Party are looking at buying them?"

Empire are a marketing company they just bring people to Party's table. Empire Poker is just a skin of Party Poker, you are playing Party Poker's players. Coral Eurobet is another Party Skin. In short Party takes a cut of the players rake for allowing them to play on the site.
