    Hi, could anyone tell me how to tell Windows XP Home Edition not to ask for my password when I'm logging on?

    go to the control panel

    start - settings - control panel

    then users

    change password and just leave it blank

    start -- run -- control userpasswords2 and uncheck the box beside "users must enter a username and password to log on to the pc. Then select the user you wish to log on and you will be asked for that user password even if it is blank.

    ya can also get winxp tweak ui to do it, and have your password. It means ya can still lock your desktop etc if you leave your pc and don't want people closing things on you etc'
