Challange TV. 121 on Sky Digital. Its on in 16 minutes, actually... Also on during the day.

It's named after him, he was on an episode in the first series afaik.

used to watch it on challenge when i was at home

great show, was a massive fan of it. i have seen a few people actually win it and the last episode actually where

the general is laying in a grave as he has won his final battle with count takeshi and craig charles says that its all over for the general, and lightning strikes his sword! he rises and gets his people behind him and punches the air and cheering!the message on screen reads, "as long as there are keshi heads, the general lives on"

I have seen 3 groups of people win, 2 were adults and one were a bunch of japanese kids! 2 adults did win a million yen each. Sometimes when the general wins, he takes control of the castle, now its hilarious watching takeshi trying to get his castle back. theres of course :rolleyes: a petition online to get them to make a dvd of it. Challenge bought the rights to it off toyko telly.

the set is still there in japan and it takes about 2 hours to get around, but most of the games are dismantled.

its called something else here in the US, its on cable but u saw one game, called "show of hands" where they run around in hand costumes and jump on the sums that the master calls out, in the UK, but of course its called "hand-job" here

i kid you not!

it must be just me that got bored witht he whole thing. watching it at every possible moment didnt really help matters
