lol - My swahili ain't up to scratch either. Sugar, to enter the free rolls you first have to accumulate enough "bonus" points and to do this you have to play in "real money" games or in real money touraments first. In other words its still going to cost you money, you can't just download the software and get straight in to a game for free and expect to win real money.

On the other point Paddy Power Poker and Victor Chandler Poker are exactly the same site with the same players. Their both run by Tribeca poker which is a company which runs poker sites for many "bookies" in Europe.

My swahili is perfect and I'm still not sure about the original post.

Didn't VC used to run giveaways? Like an MTT with 100 runners and a prize pool of $1?

Back in the good old days of the free STTs with the 10c prizepools, both long gone I think, even the $5 Giveaways cost 5action points

Ahem... $20 Brekkie roll.. $20 Fastfood freeroll Monday - Friday DAILY. $100 Tuesday giveaway.. $50 Mid-day mayahm Saturday. $50 Midday mayhem Sunday.. These are $0 buyin + 0 points.. they do not cost AP or Cash and are ONLY on PPP.

wow - can you please take a course in 'the art of writing in the english language'?

seriously, it is painful to have to read such poor english, put a bit of effort into writing properly out of consideration for the fact that other people will be reading your message

mmmmmm- How long is the Buddie list down now?? and how many times a week is the cashier not working right?? Don't get me wrong I like PPP and about 85% of my online play is there, but the BEST site?? I've accumulated about 60,000 paddy points in the 10 weeks or so I'm playing there and I can't get as much as a pencil from one of there shops for them ( I rarely play the free-rolls - too wild). If they can't get the "front of house" running right ie. a simple thing like the buddies list, then what about the back of house? Just how secure is my credit card information?
A scrap between a couple of hundred people in the middle of the day for €8-€9 first prize hardly makes it the best poker site on the net even if it doesn't cost me a single one of my almost useless Paddy Points.

Bottom line is they need to sort out the technical issues, have a look at the blinds structure in the bigger Mtt's, and just make the site more attractive to players. Apart from all that I love it. ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,882 ✭✭✭Doc Farrell

    ohoh.

actually the blind time limits in the MTTs are too short. anything less than 12-15 mins is not worth the buyins especially for rebuys.

but the customer service is excellent. i didnt know they had a shop, gonna go look for it.

And is PPP ever going to accept lodgements and cash outs from Neteller?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,881 ✭✭✭bohsman

And are Tribeca ever going to sort out their table balancing, with 15 left in the 4k Guaranteed we were playing 9 and 6 for a good 15 minutes when it became 8 and 6, just not good enough tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,806 ✭✭✭Lafortezza

I won't be using PPP until they support NETeller.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 914 ✭✭✭PPP-Pit Boss

Buddy list is not broken.. buddy list is being enhanced / developed it has been pretty much the same for the past couple of years and it is simply high time we made it better.
Cashier on PPP? Cashier has not been down for over three weeks at which point it was taken down purposely for routine maintenance at 7am our off peak time. The network wide problems that we experienced a short while back were abominable and I do apologise (again) about this.
Your Paddy Points can be used to enter freerolls of which we have over 30 per day. We are also currenly investigating other avenues for near future develpement.
Your credit card information is encrypted and completely safe. Paddy Power have over 50,000 active customers at any one time with real accounts.
MTT developement is definitely a concern, Feedback from customers should dictate much of schedule and structure. We are in discussion for a review you are not being ignored. This includes balancing etc.
The jury is out on Neteller simply because we do not accept US customers. We would have no way to control this if we introduced it. However I cannot say definitely NO or YES as the issue is still in discussion due to demand for it.

we do not accept US customers.

is this true?. how come a lot of players list american cities as their location and speak(in type) in the american way. am i missing something or is the word knowingly meant to go before the word accept?.

Oh they are there all right. Courtesy of Golden Palace Poker (GPP) who is also a member of the Tribecca network ;o)

ah yeah never thought about that. so the ppp poker operations executive role is further down the line for me then!. when you hear me complaining about table balancing and all that crap you'll know im ready :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 836 ✭✭✭OilBeefHooked2

    No Americans!

How is this dependant on netteller, surely if they want to join ppp all they need to open an account is a credit card!

Also why do ppp not want american customers?

With regard to the "freerolls" has noboby heard of the prima poker network especially bet Bet365, they have genuine freerolls every day and a $ 5k freeroll once a week on saturday!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,886 ✭✭✭Marq

is it just me, or does this make no sense whatsoever? VC Poker is another tribeca site that claims not to allow american players, and yet they allow you to make your transactions through neteller.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,838 ✭✭✭DapperGent

VC Poker have no intention of trying to look respectable. I don't think they're a publicly listed company either (could be wrong) which apparently brings it's own concerns as far as codes of conduct on fraud prevention etc. At least so I'm told.

Is there schedule of the freerolls up anywhere? Also when is the 5k freeroll scheduled for? It seems to be totally hit or miss I never know when it's on.

Any thought to using Points for STTs or something a bit more flexible? I have 250,000 and can't spend the fúckers.

We even have a little countdown timer that counts in BST! so you dont need to calculate your summer saving hours.

    22:30 $5,000 Freeroll, No Limit Holdem - 26,100 Action Points - Monday
    That would be 23:30BST

We do have plans for other stuff. In fact |am personally looking at this project. Please bear with me as that is just one of the dozen or so ongoing projects and its a biggie!

Cool. Is it every Monday or does it move around?

It would have to begin with an 'L'.

These storms are always named alphabetically (not a lot of people know that ;) ), so with Katrina happening last week, it will have to begin with a 'L'

Tis every Monday Dapper. Lest just skip two and call it hurricane Nikki

Lads you are very fortunate to have a direct line to PPP here so can we refrain from slightly dodgy remarks. I'm sure pitboss has a sense of humour so I'll be the humourless one and ask ye to stick to the point.
