Amethyst jewellery

I've got my debs coming up in a few weeks, and I've only just got my dress so I haven't sorted out any jewellery! It's a purple strapless dress, which I will be wearing with silver shoes and a silver bag. I need some nice jewellery to go with it - definitely silver anyway, and I thought amethysts would be nice since they're purple and all. Does anyone know where I can get nice amethyst jewellery that isn't too expensive or too tacky? I thought that a striking necklace, dangly earrings and a simple bracelet would probably be ok, though I'm open to suggestions if anyone can think of anything that would also go with the outfit. I don't really know any good jewellers so I'd appreciate any recommendations, I have about two and a half weeks to sort something out

I forgot to say that I'm looking for shops in Dublin, preferably between Bray and the city centre cos that's the most accessible for me

Hello pet! Oooh, are you all excited?! There's a shop opposite French connection in Powerscourt Townhouse that sells only jewellery. Really reasonable prices. Stockists of Pilgrim jewellery, which is AMAZING, have a lot of that stuff. Gwynth Paltrow swears by it. Also a shop in the George's Street Arcade, at the George's Street entrance, left hand side. Jewellery by Irish designers. Also Costelloe and Costelloe on Chatham Strret. All fabulous shops wit beautiful unusual pieces.

Yeah, Pilgrim do some lovely pieces. Even if you don't want to buy online you can have a look at their latest range at Artyfax , TreasureBox and thejewelleryshop.net

Shop on George's Arcade at the end furthest from George's St. has some amethyst pieces too, and they're all silver (it's a silver shop). It's called "Silver Moon" or something or other moon.

(Wow, I posted a factual informative reply to something on FAP. I feel strange).

Thanks for all your help! I'll probably check out those shops when I'm in town this weekend :)
