What's your legacy gonna be?

In 150 years you'll be dead (unless they cure aging).

How will the world be a better/worse place when you're gone? Will it be you're children? Do you want to discover something? Will people remember you for your life? Or will your name be carved on a concrete path "John woz here 2k5"?

Before I die (when I'm a wise old man), I want to create a story that teaches everything I've learned in general. But in one book or film rather than 3 or 7. And somehow in a way that's not corny or crap. I'm not a writer but that's what I want to do, as well as have loads of beautiful children that take over the world.

Worse, we're just heading that way

    Will it be you're children?

    I have no idea.

Do you want to discover something?

Yes, something worthwhile to me and maybe to others. Not neccesarily something physical.

Will people remember you for your life?

    Hopefully

Or will your name be carved on a concrete path "John woz here 2k5"?

    That too.

i havnt got any yet but i suppose my children will be my legacy. Sure thats the only thing that people can remeber you by unless your famous.

id love a film to be made about my life, like that film with robin williams....whats it called again?

I'd love to write some piece of music that would be remembered after I died. Too bad I don't write music. :(
I'd love to be rememered for something like that though, so that people will still know my name long after I die. I'd also like to make a difference to the world in a physical sense, by saving one person's life, or something. I thought about going to Africa to do aid work, but then I thought I might save someone who would make the world a worse place for a lot of people, so I decided to avoid the moral minefield and just hold doors open for people and stuff like that. Much less likely to be inadvertently hurting thousands of people that way.

The one where he plays the doctor? That's Patch Adams.

My legacy will probably be my children. Can't see myself inventing/creating/composing anything that people will remember me for. (I can't even draw a proper stick man! :D )
... But ya never know. I might just surprise myself!

I'd like to be remembered by the people i care about, if i became famous so be it, if i don't oh well, in the long-term i don't think it matters who remembers you.. I believe that until you die you will not fully understand the insignificance of this life with regards to the way we are living right now!!

Looks interesting. I often wonder when you die if you get to watch a film of your life.

Probably little else besides a few dodgy RPG plotlines scrawled across a fossilised A4 pad, along with a small mountain of German beer bottles.
