Can someone give me advice on a cover letter - I do not have much experience in terms of my employment but would have some in terms of voluntary capacity this is what I have so far

I can't really post the example without giving too much info about me or the organisation so - can you PM me if you are willing to give advice

    Thanks

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I have yeah but the examples of cover letters that I found are quite general

From my experience working in recruitment websites this is what I have learnt -

    - Your cover letter is just as important as your CV
    - SPELL CHECK it and check your grammar
    - Make it nice a friendly
    - Introduce yourself, explain why you want the job, and briefly say what experience you have. State when you can come for interview.
    - DO NOT use the same cover letter for each job - it's very obvious
    - Generally, writing more is better than writing less

Remember, most online recruitment website review each job application before it is forwarded to the employer, so if your cover letter is crap, the employer will never know you applied...

I really can't emphasise the writing with proper grammar and spelling. Do not write in txt speak (you'd be surprised by the amount of people who do this.)
