I got my first tatt on wednesday and towards the end of yesterday and today it's been itching like crazy. Is this normal or what's going on?

mine was like that too, when i got it...don't mind it, it'll go away, try not to itch it and just let it be..and keep putting whatever you were told to heal it with on...it's nothing major, honestly.

    Same with mine.
    Whatever you do, DON'T SCRATCH.
I scratched one of mine and had to go back to get it filled in.

lol..i did that one day..without realising i was doing that..and it was when all the scabs were healing and flaking off and i looked at my hand afterwards and i had a torn purple star in my hand!!!Lol!..it was fine though, cos it was loose anyway and it was nearly off  still....i shouldn't have itched!!!!

Use camomile lotion to ease the itching, this is normal, just your skin healing.
    Scratching will damage your tattoo.

dont worry dude its perfectly normal, really important though...DONT ITCH IT.

my first tattoo was getting 3/4 of my right arm done in a tribal design so you can imagine how itchy that was, nearly drove me demented but you'll only left with a patchy tattoo if you give in to temptation.

I find if it is itching a lot that massaging bepanthen into the tat helps, they tend to get itchier when they dry out if you let that happen.
