I was wondering if anyone knew of any reliable and reasonably priced IE website which will print up business cards? Alternatively a UK one or whatever that delivers to IE.

    Cheers.

p.s. this seemed like the best forum, apoligies if not...

I got mine done in the US. If you have your design and its only printing you need it should be cheaper.

I got quoted for 500 business cards €350 plus Vat for printing alone from my local printer, the cards are laminated on one side and printed on both sides. Here's the address were I got them done www.crazycowdesigns.com

In total with postage they cost about $130 for 1000

If you want 250 basic ones, you just have to pay the postage at www.vistaprint.co.uk

I'd only be looking for about 50 to 100 max to begin with BingoBongo, but thanks anyway :)

    I'll take a look at that site jrey1981 ... sounds interesting :)

I got some from Vista Print and I was not impressed. They are still at the back of the drawer. I got new ones done locally printed back and front, full colour both sides, laminated on one side 1000 for €90 + tax.

Vista print - Cheap definitely - Quality - Poor.
In their defence their return address stickers were excellent.

    I totally disagree,
I've gotten posters, flyers, business cards, magnets, calendars for my business all from Vista print...excellent quality unless as stated you want gold plated cards or something...

No I wasn't looking for gold plated ones. :p

It would be interesting to see how much Vista Print would charge for a similar spec/quality card.

A good business card is important because in many cases its all a potential client will see of you. A poor quality card will portray an amateur image for your business.

I had to get both sides printed because I'm in France. One side is in English and the other in French. An extra cost I know but it has paid off.

The English think it's in French on the back and the French think it's in English on the back :D

To answer my own question €91.76 + tax at their 21 day delivery rate.
I couldn't see anywhere to specify lamination.

To be honest it's all a matter of personal taste.
Maybe I just had a bad experience with them. I didn't like one of their products but I liked another.

definitly check out the laminated option...the cardboard ones aren't great I agree, but the laminate finish is 1st class!

We use printing.com. The quaility is amazing they offer pretty good value too. They have an irish office and part of their .com site is dedicated towards Ireland.

If you give them a call they will send you out a sample pack, you will see what I mean about the quaility.

Thanks for those suggestions, unfortunitly I ordered a small quantity off the guys I mentioned already, but it's nice to have alternatives :)

If you look in this years golden pages the first full page ad (cant remember the name of the company) in the "printing" section are doing a deal of 500 Business cards, full colour for €49 iirc.. (thats 40 quid cheaper than printing.com)

I second printing.com I use them for all my print jobs. The key to a good business card is to go for mat lamination, it really sets it off.

That and a good design obviously ;)
