Hi! I'm a 13 year old drummer in the Navan,Meath Area! I have been playing drums for over 11 years now! (Yes, I started when i was 2 and a half!) Believe me or not- I don't care!
My Influences are Green Day mostly, Foo Fighters, Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, AC/DC, Gunz 'n' Roses, Good Charolotte and The Red hot Chilli Peppers! My fave drummer is of course TRE COOL! (Green Day) If you want to form a band with me or need me in your band, email me at jonneem@hotmail.com . To hear me playing the drums to Green Day's Basket Case, go to- http://media.putfile.com/Basket-Case/original

just to let you know, in your video you make a numerous amount of mistakes, not a big selling point, you might want to redo it, and also make sure your kit doesnt keep moving.

    Tre, how goes it,
....listent my yung friend, Im not trying to put yu down or deflate yu in any way,, fair play to yu for making the effort, but yu really do need to get sharper and learn an awful lot before putting yerself forward for a band, no band will take yu on from that video as there are wayy too many faults, mistakes and basic non starters...have yu not tried lessons maybe?...is a good way to go theres some great folks on here and gigsmart im sure who'd be glad to help.
Drummingireland.com is also available , where many stix men/woman now reside try there too,,your enthusiasm is just right, but basisc and technique need a lot of refinning and help to get ya started. By the way what kit is that??.like the colour and lugs on it.

    ciao' amigo..Baggio........

You should just post a reply in your old thread.

I thought this: http://electrictrio-online.blogspot.com/ was a better example for your drumming.

ha ! deady ..fair play to ya kid ..only 13 ..ok you're no john bonham but keep it up !
by the time you're 18 you'll be ace. I like the idea of puttin up a video to demonstrate level of ability ..maybe we all should do it and help separate the wheat from the chaff eh lads ! I'd like to see the critiques of my guitar playin hhaha sheeit no!
the link giblet put up is much better...very hard to get an idea of what your like jamming along to a recording turned up...you woudl be better doin a vid of just yourself jammin to a click track or metronome (or whatever drummers use) just to show you can keep time and can do a few fills etc.anyway again fair play keep at it ..best way to improve is to play in a band so good luck !

ps never mind baggio he's just jealous ...hahahaha

You're not keeping in time and so many errors I lost count after 5 seconds. Persuade your parents to get you lessons. Practice with slower songs than you typically get with Green Day.

Bottom line, get lessons and in 3 years you'll be fairly decent.

Are those audio samples the same guy? Definitely doesn't sound like it. I'm sorry to be the bástard here but that Green Day job was not the song. There isn't numerous mistakes. The kid's playing whatever comes to mind and roughly following the fills. Seriously, I'm not just being mean for the sake of it but that is not even the most rudimentary drumming. It sounds like when my guitar player or singer decides to have a pop on the kit during rehearsals. As Baggio said (somewhat more diplomatically than me) get lessons if you want to be a drummer. Those 11 years haven't done ye any good.

I'm not trying to put down a potential drummer here, just saying to be sure that you can play before you go hunting for bands. Keep it up, but definitely get lessons. I started playing on a couple of paint cans (toms) and a box of nails (snare) along with a wooden box (bass drum) and I thought I was great. But I wasn't. I don't know what my point is other than I thought I was a good drummer, but I wasn't. The basics are what ya need, and work from there.

Please do keep it up, cos there aren't enough of us around, but learn to play well, become the best you can, and then people will be crying out for ya. I'm sounding mean, but it's only cos I don't wanna molly coddle ye into thinking you're doing fantastic.

    Tip:
get Extreme drums for beginners. I got it about half a year when I started (been playing year and a half) and it help on some things, but it would help you alot (no offence just trying to help ya)

    G'luck
