Superquinn in Blanch were selling 10 330 ml bottles of Stella for 11.99. Seemed good value to me anyways, apologies if it's not! I don't tend to buy it

I do the "Booze Cruise" to France once a year from Rosslare to Cherbourg. On these trips I buy a lot of stuff for the house and family - childrens shoes & clothes, things for the kitchen etc - much cheaper than here and the savings more than pay for the trip. The big negative is that I am away for more than 36 hours and most of that time spent at sea.

I buy at least one box of 36 of the small bottles of stella for € 6.
Wine I pay on average € 2 for a decent bottle of wine.

On the last trip, I bought all of the internal & external lights for our new house. The most expensive light was € 15. And the lights don't look cheap or tacky - very nice in fact.

Most supermarkets do 20 for 20 on stella anyways. They'd be pushing it asking for anymore to be honest.

stella is usually €1 a bottle. It is always the english brewed stuff, not too bad but the real stella is far better.

Im aware of that. you may be aware of these things called roads, which enable access to the place where everything(except petrol) is at least 10% cheaper than here...
