I'm looking for a picture that portrays the beauty of life from a distance. Y'know, to take a step back and look at the bigger picture kinda thing. I want to recreate it myself and paint it as a present. Unfortunatley, I'm having no luck in my search. Could someone please help?

That depends on what your perception of life would be in picture form.

Would it be some form of nature picture, or that of a newborn child, or... Anything? You'd have to have some idea of what style of picture you'd be after, unless you are hoping to just be presented with one that makes you step back and say 'Wow, just what I was looking for!' which, obiously, would be harder to do than simply re-create your own idea...

Hmmm - I, personally, wouldn't know what would kind of picture would make me do that... Thats because we all have different views...

I wonder what would happen if you googled 'Picture Of Life'.
    :D

Anyone here fancy trying to create a picture or animation that teems of the word 'Life'?

Actually, come to think of it, I'm not entirally sure what I'm looking for. I sort of envisaged a young woman in the foreground looking down on the world. I never really thought of what the world would consist of. Or mabye even a young woman looking up at an almost fantasy-like sky filled with stars. The idea of that would be that even though there might be so many negatives in your life now, there's still beauty there that will never go away. Ooh, I like that. That would be rediculously difficult to paint though...

    Hmmmm.

It certainly is a hard picture to envision, but we all have different views and tastes, hence some people would look at an image and be completely oblivious to the statement it's trying to make...

I figure, however, that if everyone pitched in ideas, we'd eventually have an agreement as to what a 'Picture Of Life' could be. Life is different for everyone, so god knows what weird or wonderful ideas people have in their heads for an image of life.

I'm personally stumped at the moment, although having such a basic train of thought, I would have gone with 'Children' in some shape or form being an obvious theme - Thats just me.

Anyone else out there have any suggestions?

Take a look at a stock image site - you might get some ideas there.

I've also been thinkin' about doin' a starry sky in the style of a Tim Burton pic. Y'know, the kinda messy but stylised pictures. I think that would look good with black indian inks.

Moving to Digital Art forum - Should be plenty more feedback given from there.

If this somehow converts into an 'Animation of Life', come back here :)
